Gathering Pastor of Chain of Lakes Speaks to Presbytery

Over the past several years, this presbytery, through its Church Development Team (CDT), has established a fair number of new churches. Last fall you heard a report from the CDT that we’re the recipients of a $100K GA mission program grant. In November, you approved a Board of Trustees recommendation to lease 402 sq. ft. of space in the new Rice Lake Professional Center in Lino Lakes to serve as an official headquarters for the “Chain of Lakes New Church Development (NCD)” in the Lino Lakes/Blaine area.

Well, as the “Gathering Pastor” of the Chain of Lakes (COL) NCD, I’m the one occupying that office! Since I started my ministry on Jan. 16, people ask me, “What do you do up there all day?” After hearing that question on numerous occasions, I decided it was time for an update!
